Peachtree Park is a charming, tucked-away Buckhead neighborhood that sits right next to the Lenox shopping district, with quick access to major roads (it’s commonly described as bordered on the east by GA 400 and near Piedmont Road). It’s also closely tied to the Peachtree Highlands–Peachtree Park Historic District, which is roughly bounded by Piedmont & Peachtree Roads, GA 400, and the MARTA north–south line.

Homes & Architecture

Architecturally, the area is known for well-kept single-family homes and a “classic Atlanta” residential look. The National Register listing for the Peachtree Highlands–Peachtree Park Historic District (NRIS ID 08000325) notes architectural significance, and the district documentation highlights early suburban planning patterns and a housing stock developed largely in the early-to-mid 20th century.

Lifestyle & Leisure

For things to do and easy outdoor time, the neighborhood’s signature connector is Bynum Bridge Park—a 223-foot-long pedestrian bridge over GA 400 that links Peachtree Park directly to Lenox Square and Shops Around Lenox (with shopping and dining). That “walk over the highway to dinner or errands” convenience is a big part of the lifestyle appeal here.

Schools

School-wise, Buckhead’s neighborhood guide commonly associates Peachtree Park with Garden Hills Elementary, Sutton Middle, and North Atlanta High, and Atlanta Public Schools provides an address-based School Finder to confirm zoning for any specific listing. On safety, the Peachtree Park Civic Association states it runs a private security patrol composed of off-duty Atlanta Police Department officers during overnight/early-morning hours.
